Khawarizmi Technical University College Participates in Specto’s Schools Forum 2026 to Promote Digital Skills

On Thursday, August 6, 2026, Khawarizmi Technical University College participated in Specto’s annual Schools Forum, “Powered by Skills. Driven by Impact,” held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel – Dead Sea.

The forum brought together more than 80 schools, along with educational leaders, experts, and partners, with the aim of strengthening students’ digital skills and preparing them for the demands of the future.

The College was represented by Executive Director Ms. Susan Qadomi, who met with students and participants and introduced them to the College, its academic and technical programs, as well as the International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) programs and the importance of developing essential digital skills from an early age. She also presented commemorative gifts to participating school students.

The forum also featured a competition involving several schools, including Al-Ridwan Schools, Dar Al-Arqam Schools, and the Baptist Schools. Students presented practical projects incorporating artificial intelligence and programming languages, demonstrating their ability to apply digital skills to develop practical and innovative ideas.

At the conclusion of the competition, the winning students were honored and presented with prizes and educational scholarships by Dr. Ahmad Abu Al-Haija, in recognition of their efforts and outstanding projects and to encourage them to continue developing their digital skills.

During the forum, the College highlighted the importance of introducing computer and digital skills to students from an early age, including through ICDL programs. Equipping students with these skills while they are still at school enables them to enter university with a strong foundation in computer use and digital applications, helping them make better use of technology in their studies, assignments, and projects, as well as in their future professional careers.

The forum reflects the growing focus on developing digital skills among school students and enhancing their ability to use technology for learning, creativity, and project development, helping them transition to university with greater confidence and readiness.

Through its participation in such events, Khawarizmi Technical University College reaffirms its commitment to engaging with schools, supporting students, and promoting applied education and digital skills programs that help prepare students for university studies and the future job market.
